Ort der Zukunft:
"Ort der Zukunft: Graben-Neudorf 2030" was an artistic research project supported by Fonds Darstellende Künste with funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.
Images of the future for and of the town of Graben-Neudorf were explored in interviews with residents and local experts, with a view to connections between yesterday, today and tomorrow. Three topics were examined for overlaps and current developments: asparagus cultivation, deep geothermal energy and social constellations.
We wanted to know from the people of Graben-Neudorf and those who moved here: Which future do we want to move towards together? Which stories do we want to tell? What constitutes the identity of Graben-Neudorf and how does it change in view of current developments?
For open exchange and encounters, we have set up the "Future Radar" (Zukunftsradar) at different public places in Graben-Neudorf in October 2020.
