RHEINREFLEXE
The artistic short film RHEINREFLEXE deals with the history of the fishing village of Alt-Dettenheim, which was relocated to Altenbürg in 1813, and invites the viewer to dive into a world between reality and fiction. Which overlaps and interconnections can be produced between real events and old as well as new fictions for Alt-Dettenheim?
Through interviews with people who are personally connected to the local history, insights are gained into the former and present significance of the village and its ecology.
In addition, the film accompanies a fictional, as yet unknown creature in its habitats in landscapes close to the Rhine. Will it be able to point the way to sustainable relationships between humans and nature?
